Final Pre‑Submission Checklists

Knowledge & Understanding (K/U)

  • Each page links facts → ideas → concepts → themes (state the theme in reflections).
  • Pages include accurate context; nothing essential is missing.

Application

  • Media conventions used intentionally (headings, captions, embeds).
  • Personal connections are concrete (not generic).
  • Materials organized; questions drafted; issues flagged for conference.

Communication

  • Clear voice; short paragraphs; strong topic sentences.
  • Site structure is logical (Home → Formative/Summative → Tips).
  • Audience awareness: evidence up front; jargon explained.
  • Subject vocabulary used correctly (diction, tone, motif, symbolism, inference).

Thinking & Inquiry

  • Visuals actually explain something (e.g., annotated quote, structure diagram).
  • Reflections include evidence from your own writing (quote yourself or show a snippet).
  • Two ambitious next steps listed on summatives.
  • 3–5 probing questions ready for the conference.
