Reading

• Preview: title, author, time/place → predict themes.
• Track what + how + why (what happens, how it’s written, why it matters).
• Collect one quote per chapter you could reuse later.

Writing

• Plan in 6 lines: Hook, Context, Thesis, 3 Points, Link-back.
• Paragraph frame: Claim → Context → Evidence → Analysis (x2) → Link.
• Edit pass order: ideas → evidence → clarity → grammar → formatting.

Speaking/Media

• One idea per slide; use speaker notes to teach.
• Readable design: dark text on light background; minimal graphics.

Workflow

• Make a quote bank doc; color‑code by theme.
• Use a checklist before submission (thesis, topic sentences, transitions, MLA).
